A bunch of new brands have grabbed a piece of retail space in Trinity Leeds, giving summer shoppers a special treat. Krispy Kreme Doughnuts have secured a small unit, guaranteed to tempt taste buds and attack six-pack abs. Bubbleology, a bubble tea café, has taken an even smaller unit, but the queues outside suggest they deliver big on flavour.
On the fashion side of things, Replay, an Italian fashion brand, has a ground floor store which measures over 1,000 sq ft. However, Moss, a men’s formalwear retailer, will open a store five times larger.
Meanwhile, the Merrion Centre is preparing for the arrival of an authentic Far East food store. The Sing Kee Chinese supermarket and cafe will open on 23 July, creating 20 jobs and giving Woodhouse Lane a cultural boost.
Although the food is foreign, the business is local. Sing Kee has existing stores in Leeds and Bradford. The family-run business has been supplying Leeds with Chinese food for nearly 20 years.
Also adding itself to the Merrion Centre’s expanding food offering is Humpit, a Mediterranean hummus and pitta café, offering vegan-friendly, healthy, fresh, and affordable meals.
