The awards, known as the ESTAS and sponsored by Zoopla in association with HomeLet and RICS, measures the quality of customer service provided by agents through the rental process.
Recently our growing team and resources have enabled us to gain ARLA accreditation, NFoPP qualification as well as being a finalist at the Landlord and Letting Agent Awards 2011/2012. (for more information see News Awards 2011)
The ESTA’s recognise and reward quality service based on research conducted among landlords. Winning an ESTA demonstrates our commitment to the highest standards of customer service as the awards are voted for by you – our clients.
During April 2012 Phil Spencer will present the 9th annual ESTAS Ceremony when 500 of the best agents in the country will descend on the London Hilton Park Lane.
Phil Spencer, presenter of Channel 4’s Location, Location property programme says “I think it says a great deal about company who’s prepared to stand up and announce to customers and competitors that they believe in providing the best possible service and they’re happy to prove it. These awards help agencies to focus on customer service levels and that’s why so many sign up each year”
“Any agent that signs up for the ESTAS is making a public pledge that they are focused on providing the best possible service to their clients whether they be buying, selling or renting through the agent”
Luke, Director of Let-Leeds.com Ltd said “We take our levels of customer service very seriously because we know clients have a choice. We have always been very proud of the personal service we provide and this is great way to demonstrate how good we really are. The ESTA’s also gives us the opportunity of benchmarking our customer feedback, and continually striving to better ourselves and innovate within the industry.”
Nick Leeming, Director of Zoopla says “The growing number of ESTA agents and entries is proof that the industry is keen to gain valuable insight into how the public rate their businesses. The awards are aligned with our own business objectives and we’re delighted to again be the headline sponsor of the ESTAs.”
The national scheme is backed by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
David Dalby, Residential Director at RICS, said “This is the seven year that RICS have been involved with the awards, which we support because the results are based solely on customer satisfaction rather than the opinions of a judging panel. To win an Estate or Letting Agent of the Year Award, a firm has to demonstrate a consistently high level of service and, to achieve this, they must ensure that staff follow those standards of efficiency, good communication and transparency that differentiate the exceptional agent from the ordinary one.”
