Let-Leeds, the Yorkshire-based letting agent, has picked up its second award in under a year.
Let-Leeds has won an award at the prestigious Estate & Letting Agent Awards sponsored by Zoopla Property Group
The awards, celebrating their 10th year are known throughout the industry as the ESTAS. The ESTAS determines the best estate/letting agents in the country through research carried out amongst customers who are asked a series of questions about the service they have received from their agent, 23,000 questionnaires were completed by customers during the competition.
Phil Spencer, who has hosted the ESTAS every year since their inception in 2004 said “I think these awards help us all to focus on customer service for the greater good of our own businesses as well as the wider industry. We must all drive standards higher, raising the bar in terms of the quality of advice we offer and the level of customer care we deliver.”
Agents were shortlisted in 18 regions around the country. “The ESTAS competition is about recognising the hard work agents put in every day, every week and month of the year” says Simon Brown who runs the national scheme. “So to be shortlisted is a great achievement, but to win is the highest accolade any agent can achieve”.
The company was declared a winner in the ESTAS Estate and Letting Agent Awards 2013; the largest and longest-running property awards in the UK, at a ceremony in London’s Hilton Park Lane hotel. It collected the regional Gold Award for best letting agent.
Let-Leeds’ victory was based on ratings given to estate and letting agents by 23,000 sellers, buyers and landlords during 2012.
Company founder Luke Gidney collected the Yorkshire and Humber Gold ESTAS Award from TV property guru Phil Spencer.
Afterwards, Mr Gidney said:
To win a second major award in less than a year is a real thrill for all of us.
Everyone likes to win and to win twice is a great honour.
“But it is all the more important because it shows that we are going about our business in the best possible way. We are doing what we do well and people are noticing and appreciating that.
“Our success in the ESTAS has come about because we have been consistently highly rated by the people who use our services. This award shows a very high level of customer satisfaction with our service – and that makes us feel very satisfied with the way Let-Leeds operates on behalf of tenants and landlords.
“When it comes to providing a service, we pride ourselves on being thorough and dedicated. It is very pleasing for everyone at Let-Leeds to have this recognised again.’’
In 2012, Let-Leeds was a winner in ‘The Sunday Times Lettings Agency of the Year Awards’.
Mr Gidney added: “We are so happy to win this award. It represents the extremely large amounts of hard work that the whole Let-Leeds team has put in to ensure our landlords and tenants are very happy.
“I’m extremely proud to receive this award. It’s a sign that Let-Leeds is one of the best and most successful agencies in Leeds.’’
